What are Design Requests?
A Design Request is a feature we have for our subscribers to ask for designs that they want or need but can’t find in our catalog. You can just let us know and we’ll make it for you. And it doesn’t cost extra at all. It takes around 5 business days to be done! The number of Design Requests credits you have per month depends on the subscription you’re on. Vexels is a design platform, not a Design studio, which means that sometime after you receive your request, the design will be published in our library, and other users will be able to download it. In the case of logos or branding, since these are really custom or have a unique concept, it’s usually the person who made the request the only one who uses it. For this reason, logos are made with a different name but keep the text editable for the user to change later on.Few readersWhy was my Design Request rejected?
A request will be rejected if: It includes content that’s sexually explicit, defamatory, abusive, racist, hateful, or objectionable in any way It includes trademarked or copyrighted content It’s not community useful: It does not fit Vexels' internal, non-disclosed criteria for design It includes more than one design per request The product isn’t included within the products available for Design Requests (e.g. Mockups). Of course! Design Requests come with an editable file which you can import into an editing software to modify it as you wish! And we encourage it! How can I make a Design Request?
To request a design you have to go to your profile, to the My Designs section and click on 'My Requests'. Once you click on the Make a Design Request button, make sure to fill in all the blanks and be as precise and descriptive as possible. Don't forget to add references to the request. Also, remember that to make Design Requests you have to be subscribed to any of our plans.Some readersHow does the Request Credit system work?
Each user has a certain number of non-cumulative credits to use per month according to their plan. The credit system works like this: -Complex designs are worth 3 credits -Standard designs are 2 credits -Basic designs are 1 credit This means that you can request more basic designs than complex ones, but if you have enough credits, you can also request many complex designs. For example, if you have 6 credits, you can request two complex designs (worth 3 credits each) or three standard designFew readersWhat happens if I select incorrectly the number of credits of my Design Request?
If the selected credits by the User do not align with the written description of the design request, Vexels reserves the right to modify the final design to align with the selected credits. From the moment you send your design, allow 1-2 weekdays for it to be received and processed. After that, your request will take between 5 and 7 business days to be completed, subject to demand.
